Thanks to our God and James Chapel of Clintonville we were able to celebrate another baptism with our MCC family last week end.
Geneva, Chase Abby and Doug all were buried with Christ and raised to newness of life!!!!!! Praise God!!!
Well Folks it's official!
McElhenney Community Church is now the owner of record for what was formally the McElhenney Presbyterian Church. We have watched in amazement as God has blessed us with a building to meet in and then how he moved to make it ours. We will begin our remodeling project soon and are eager to see how God will be using us to share the love of Christ in the Grassy Meadows Area in the coming year. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Praise The Lord, Thanks to our contractor and all who donated their time talent and funds to make it possible, our remodel is now complete and we will officially be having our first service in our new building this Sunday the 6th of Jan.
God’s Best! See you Sunday.
Once again we are Blessed by God to have somewhere to meet during our building remodel, so for the next few months we will be meeting a the Smoot Elementry School until our facelift is complete. Thanks to everyone for their patience, I promise, it will all be worth it. Service times are the same. 9:30 coffee and fellowship, followed by our main service at 10:00, followed by more fellowship and hugs all around.
Can’t wait to see you all there. God’s Best!
REMODEL MADNESS Continued
Images of the work day at MCC Family, 14 men showed up to help dig out the ground under the main building before the contractor began the rebuilding of the floor. Several ladies brought food for the guys and all in all we had a great time taking care of our new church home. Thanks to all of you for all you did, and all you do!
McElhenney Community Church Burial Requirements
McElhenney “Presbyterian” Church is no more. The church and property have been deeded to a new entity: McElhenney Community Church. Regarding the cemetery, because of a critical lack of space, we can no longer offer unregulated, free plots. Therefore, we must request that any burials be limited to McElhenney Community Church members, those with immediate family (father, mother, spouse, children) already interred here, or those with a previously set stone. An initial maintenance fee of $800.00 is required of nonmembers of McElhenney Community Church to be paid before burial; vaults are mandatory. All cemetery rules and regulations are at the discretion of the church elders and may be changed at any time.
5 more Baptisms on Sunday!!!
Once again Blessed by God’s Goodness as we experienced several of our young people being Buried with Christ and raised to Newness of Life. To God be all the Glory, Thank You, Jesus!
Another Miracle!!!!! to Proclaim Who Our God Is.
After praying on Wednesday at our bible study for Little Preston who had a lump on the side of his head, we received another reason to Praise God. The results of what all the doctors agreed would be cancer came back BENIGN. As Doc Chris Martin put it ” All the physicians knew it was cancer. What they were not counting on was GOD stepping in! “
